MESHHH was born on-site, not in a boardroom. The idea first sparked in 2014, when Ashley was working on a job. With the client on his way home from the airport, snagging still to be done, and with no labour in sight, Ashley needed a solution – fast. At the same time, apps were beginning to revolutionise how people accessed services. That moment raised a question: why wasn’t there something this simple for finding good trades? It was a question we kept coming back to.
The Problem
In construction, finding reliable work or labour should be straightforward, but it’s not. Agencies overcharge and underdeliver. People don’t show up. Niche trades are hard to locate in the right areas. And workers, too often, are treated as expendable.
The Solution
What started as a simple idea, a quick way to book labour, evolved into something more powerful: A dedicated, purpose-built network for the construction industry.
MESHHH connects construction professionals across the UK (and beyond). It allows people to showcase their work, find reliable labour, and grow trusted networks. Fast. Direct. Transparent.

Alex
Chartered Building Surveyor
With a degree in Building Surveying, a Masters in Real Estate, and chartered status since 2013, Alex became Managing Director of his firm in 2016 before stepping away in 2022 to focus on MESHHH and other ventures. He brings deep industry insight and strategic direction to the platform.
Ashley
Construction Professional
Starting on the tools at 16, Ashley has built a strong career across multiple roles including project management. Now running his own construction company and delivering major rail projects across the UK, he brings first-hand experience of the challenges of sourcing labour on time, in the right place.
